Mr. Barner joined Halifax in 2006. His responsibilities include identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing financial analyses and due diligence, and conducting industry research. Previously, Mr. Barner worked in the Investment Banking Group of BB&T Capital Markets where he participated in a variety of merger and acquisition, equity, and structured finance transactions across a broad range of industries. Mr. Barner earned a B.S. in Commerce with Distinction from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia where he concentrated in Finance.
