Prior to joining Halifax in 1999, Mr. Marshall worked with numerous entrepreneurial, closely held businesses in the assurance practices of both KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Marshall led the Middle Market Advisory Services assurance practice in Raleigh, N.C. He has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and initial public offerings. Mr. Marshall currently serves on the Board of Directors of Service Champ, Inc. Mr. Marshall received his B.A. in Accounting from North Carolina State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. Mr. Marshall currently serves on the Board of the Raleigh Rescue Mission, The State Club and North Wake County Baseball Association. Mr. Marshall is a member of the Fund's Investment and Management committees.
