Prior to joining Halifax in 1999, Mr. Williams was a Director in PaineWebber's Merchant Banking Division, which he helped to establish. Prior to that, Mr. Williams was a Director in PaineWebber's Investment Banking Division, where he was responsible for the coverage of business and industrial service companies. Mr. Williams joined PaineWebber from Smith Barney Inc. where he had similar responsibilities in its Multi-Industry and New Business Development Groups. Previously, Mr. Williams was also an Assistant Vice President in the Project Finance Department of the Sumitomo Bank, Ltd. Mr. Williams currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Animal Supply Co., LLC, PolyPipe Holdings, Inc., and serves on the Board of Directors of Nutrition Physiology Company, LLC. Mr. Williams recently served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taylor Logistics, LLC and was a member of the Board of Directors of Universal Hospital Services, Maverick Healthcare Group, and MTW Corporation. Mr. Williams is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Center for Private Equity Finance at The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Williams earned his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and his M.B.A. from Rice University. Mr. Williams is a member of the Fund’s Investment and Management committees.
