Interim HealthCare CEO Gilmartin Joins International Franchise Association Board Of Directors

SUNRISE, Fla. – September 30, 2013 – Interim HealthCare Inc. announced today that President and CEO Kathleen Gilmartin has been elected to the International Franchise Association Board of Directors. She is one of 7 new members and will begin her term following the 54th IFA Annual Convention in February 2014. The Board is comprised of 24 members and 8 Executive Committee members.

Gilmartin leads the national network of home care, hospice and health staffing franchises, which is known for its continuum of care, and has just spearheaded Interim HealthCare Inc.’s global launch with the acquisition of UK-based Bluebird Care Franchises Limited. Since joining Interim HealthCare in 2008, she has revitalized franchise development and specifically driven hospice and personal care and support services expansion. Gilmartin is a member of the IFA’s Women’s Franchise Committee, the IFA’s Convention Committee and the Regulatory Advisory Committee for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. She is also a board member of the Alliance for Home Care Quality & Innovation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from D’Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y.
